Well Said meets So Hoppy Together

The Well Said bundle paired with the FREE So Hoppy Together stamp set.

Today I am sharing one of my favorite bundles from the 2019 Occasions catalog called Well Said.  This is a huge stamp set, with a coordinating die set called Well Written.  This bundle allows you to create custom sentiments and greetings galore for any project.  And I love the script font of the dies!  They can be purchased separately, or in a bundle at a discount!

I have chosen to pair it up with the So Hoppy Together sale-a-bration stamp set.  It's adorable, and you can get it FREE through the end of this month with a qualifying order.  Do you love FREE stuff?

The Well Written dies are not only versatile, but so easy to customize.  I was quickly able to create the perfect play on words for my sentiment by cutting out the 'a' in happy, and replacing it with the 'o' cut from the love die, to make this punny greeting.

Easily create custom sentiments and greetings with the Well Said bundle.

To recreate this card:

  • Cut a piece of Soft Sea Foam cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2"
  • Cut a piece of Call Me Clover designer series paper 3 3/4" x 5"
  • Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock 3 5/8" x 4 7/8"

I used a sponge brayer with Pool Party ink to add a bit of color along the bottom edge of the Whisper White layer, than added the lily pad, which was cut using the Layering Ovals framelits.  After stamping the frog, I colored him with Granny Apple Green and Pineapple Punch Blends, did a little fussy cutting, and put him on his lily pad with a dimensional.  A Flirty Flamingo flower cut from the Well Written dies was the perfect accent on the lily pad.

The Well Said bundle is quickly becoming a staple in my card making.  Click on the link below to get your bundle today, and you can choose the So Hoppy Together stamp set FREE as your Sale-A-Bration item!  While you are in my store, gather the rest of your supplies to create a punny card, and share it with me.  I would love to see what you create!

Sweet Honey Bee Shaker Card

Hi Friends, I am back today with one last project using the A Little Wild bundle.

Sweet Bee Shaker card made with A Little Wild stamp set and Little Loves framelits dies

This bundle has been really fun to create with!  Have you ever found a stamp set or bundle that you start making a specific project with, than you find yourself creating more and more with it, because it is so fun to work with?  That's how I feel about this bundle!  As you know from my last post, I am in love with the little bees!  So this project was made specifically for those little guys, and of course, I had to make a bee hive with little bees inside! What better way to do that, than with a shaker card!

Sweet bee shaker card made with A Little Wild stamp set and Little Loves framelits dies

To create this card, cut the following pieces of cardstock:

  • 4 1/4" x 11" piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock, scored at 5 1/2"
  • 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Basic Black cardstock
  • 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" piece of Whisper White cardstock
  • 2" x 2" piece of Whisper White cardstock
  • 1 1/4" x 2 1/2" piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock
  • 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" piece of Window Sheet

Stamp the bee hive randomly across the front of the Whisper White layer in Daffodil Delight ink.  Stamp 3 sets of bees on the 2" Whisper White piece in Archival Black ink, than color them with the Daffodil Delight watercolor pencil.  Using the bee hive die from the Little Loves framelits set, die cut a hive just off center near the bottom of the Whisper White layer, and use the bee die to cut out the bees.  Now, make the shaker.  On the back side of the Whisper White layer, adhere the piece of window sheet using Fast Fuse adhesive.  Than, applying Foam Adhesive Strips to the window sheet, outline the bee hive.  Place some bees (face down) inside the hive.  I also added some black and irridescent sequins from the Metallics Sequin Assortment.  Now, you can choose to apply the Basic Black layer over the top, but I cheat, and add a second layer of window sheet over this area.  I find it is easier to line up my layers, so this is what I did.  I than adhered the front layer to the Basic Black layer.  Next, tie a double piece of Basic Black solid twine around the center, and adhered this piece, with dimensionals, to the Daffodil Delight card base.  For the sentiment, I used the Cool Treats stamp set because the word Sweet was perfect!  This was also stamped in Archival Black ink.  For the right edge of the sentiment strip, I lined up the bee hive die along the edge of the strip, and die cut an edge to fit along the shaker window.  Punch the other end with the Banner Triple Punch, and adhere along the bottom of card, lining up with the hive.   Embellish as you choose with the little bees.

The colors I choose for this card are simple.  You could substitute Crushed Curry if you wanted a bolder golden color.

In a few short weeks, the 2016-2017 Annual catalog and 2017 Occasions catalog will retire, and with it, lots of really amazing products.  Some of these have become my favorites!  If you are hopping along with the Blue Water Bloggers, thanks for joining the fun!  Enjoy one last look at the great products we are featuring.  This is your last chance to get them before they are gone!

Build a Birthday stamp set with Dazzling Diamonds glitter. Stamped in Watermelon Wonder, Flirty Flamingo, Blushing Bride, and Cucumber Crush ink.

Today I would like to share a stamp set that was a go to for fast cards.  I added a twist with some glitter to make it extra special.  This card uses several retiring products, including one of my favorite ink colors, Watermelon Wonder.  Once it is gone, I will have to find a new favorite, but for now, Watermelon Wonder, I still love you!

I stamped this card with this color combo:

Now, to make this, you will want to cut your cardstock as follows:

            Watermelon Wonder 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2"

            Blushing Bride layer 3 3/4" x 5"

            Whisper White layer 3 5/8" x 4 7/8"

Once your cardstock is cut, stamp your cake in any color combination of choice, than add your glitter and ribbon.  Adding the Dazzling Diamonds glitter makes this card.  The shimmer is amazing and just gorgeous!

Luv 2 Stamp Group Blog Hop

Welcome back!  Today I am sharing another project using the really fun High Tide stamp set from the Occasions catalog.

High Tide Stamp Set and Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack

I belong to the Luv 2 Stamp Group as my Stampin' Up! family.  It is full of fun, creative people that enjoy creating and sharing together.  We have group meetings, and because we are spread all over the US, we meet online to share.  These events are fun!  I was fortunate to not only share this project with the group during our recent event, but also at Stampin' Up! On Stage a few months ago as it's debut. You may remember this sneak peak, or perhaps this one, which I blogged about back in December, using this set as well.  I am just sayin', this set is really fun to create with!  Once I started working with it, the projects came together in a snap!

This card is a perfect masculine birthday, congratulations, or thinking of you card. Those can be hard to come by!  It is simple stamping, and layered nicely using this awesome stripe from the Neutrals Designer Series Paper stack.

To Recreate this Card

Start with a card base of Basic Gray cardstock cut to 4 1/4" x 11" and scored at 5 1/5".  Add a layer of Basic Gray diagonal stripe designer series paper from the Neutrals Designer Series Paper stack, cut to 3 3/4" x 5", and set aside.  Next, stamp the lighthouse in Real Red ink on a 2 5/8" x 3 7/8" piece of Whisper White cardstock.  The sand was created using Crumb Cake ink, then some grass in Wild Wasabi.  Adhere the lighthouse scene to a 2 3/4" x 4" piece of Basic Gray cardstock.  I added Linen Thread to the top of this layer, and tied in a knot.  Adhere the lighthouse layer to your cardbase with dimensionals.  Finally, I stamped my sentiment, from the Sunburst Sayings stamp set, in Basic Black ink, on a 3/8" strip of Whisper White, than cut the ends banner style, and adhered over the bottom of the card.  That's it, hope you like it!

Coolest Bundle Ever

Today I am sharing one of the coolest bundles ever!  The Cool Treats Suite of products in the Occasions catalog is one of my favorites.  The stamps, dies, and embellishments are just adorable, and so so fun!  It doesn't hurt that the color combination includes some of my favorites, and it is good for kids, and kids at heart!

Cool Treats Bundle and Product Suite

I recently did a birthday card class.  It was so fun!  We even had cake and gifts, after all, what would a party be without those!  And although this bundle has great cool treats, I wanted to create a birthday cake card to make at class.  Enter the ice cream cone dies.  This cone with slits works perfectly to create icing on this cake.  And when you layer multiple cuts of the cones, the dimension is really fun!

Cool Treats Bundle and layering die cuts

Now throw in the Sprinkles Embellishments, and it is a winner!

To make your own birthday cake card, start with a card base and top layer in Pool Party.  Add a strip of the Tasty Treats designer series paper, which is part of the Cool Treats Suite, backed with a strip of Early Espresso cardstock.  The placemat is made using the Layering Ovals framelits, and also cut from the Tasty Treats designer series paper and Early Espresso cardstock.  The plate is punched with circle punches, and the cake is made simply by stacking multiple die cuts from the Frozen Treats Framelits.  A silver foil spoon must be included with the cake.  And I finished it all off with a few square sequins from the Sprinkles Embellishments.  Add your sentiments in Early Espresso ink to complete the card.

Here is the color combination, give it a try:

Thanks for stopping by, and let me know what you think.  I hope you enjoy making some Cool Treat cards as well!  Head on over to my store to get started.
